Greetings to all who read this, I go by the name of Anisah True. I am the author of The Black Magnolia Society series which chronicles the lives of successful Black & Latina women in the entertainment industry that belong to a secret society founded in 1936. Its a detailed fictional account of how success, money, and power does not equal happiness. Every book unlocks a new dramatic dilemma beginning with The Black Magnolia Society Volume 1 and its spinoff Queens of the South: A Black Magnolia Drama. Self-publishing through Lulu.com inspired me to create my own publishing company, Literary Candy Books. I also consult with other writers looking to self-publish or may be curious about doing POD (print on demand) publishing. Outside of that, I'm working hard on completing TBMS Volume 2 and developing a teen series. The goal at the end of it all is to get Black Magnolias onto film. I think its time Black & Latina actresses get the shine they deserve :)
